Troubleshooting Guide

Issue

Device is not indicating “POWER IN”

Steps

1. Check your supply power.
a. Is the supply power live?
b. Input power is 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 1.2 A Max.
2. Check the working condition of the power connector cable and/or any inline extension cables.
3. Ensure that the power connector into the device is properly inserted.
a. With the connector in hand, insert it into the device. Ensure the connector is pushed all the way in, then rotate the device clockwise until it clicks into place.
4. If the device still will not indicate “POWER IN”, contact support at support@efr-systems.us

NOTE: The device will automatically shut off if it operates with an internal temperature above 72º C / 161.6º F.

Issue

Device is not powering on

Steps

1. If the “POWER IN” indicator light is illuminated and the device will not power when switched on, ensure that:
a. All sensor cables are connected and in the proper locations.
b. Fluid levels are within the normal operating requirements:
2. Supply container is full or filled above the supply level sensor.
3. Reservoir is empty or filled below the sensor module sensor.
4. The error indicator light is not illuminated.
5. If all conditions above are met and the device will still not power on, and/or the power switch does not illuminate blue when depressed, contact support at support@efr-systems.us

Issue

Power switch is illuminated while in the released position

Steps

1. If the power switch is illuminated while in the released position, ensure that:
a. All sensor cables are connected and in the proper locations.
b. Fluid levels are within the normal operating requirements:
2. Reservoir is empty or filled below the sensor module sensor.
a. If the above conditions are met and the power switch is still illuminated, ensure that:
b. When the device is powered on, and the fluid levels are within the normal operating requirements, the error light does not illuminate.
3. Contact support at support@efr-systems.us if all the following conditions are met:
a. Power switch is illuminated while in the released position.
b. Error light illuminates when the power switch is in the depressed position.
c. All sensor cables are connected and in the proper locations.
d. Reservoir is empty or filled below the sensor module sensor.

Issue

Error indicator light is illuminated

Steps

1. Check that the supply container is not empty and is filled above the supply level sensor.
2. Check if the reservoir is overfilled.
a. If the reservoir is not overfilled, ensure that all cable connections between the device and reservoir are intact. Check that all sensor cables are in working condition.
4. If the error indicator light persists, refer to the device's user manual for error code information.
5. Contact support at support@efr-systems.us if the issue remains unresolved.

Issue

Device is not pumping or shuts off intermittently/permanently

Steps

1. Check if the “ERROR” indicator light is illuminated.
2. If the “PUMP ON” indicator light is illuminated, check if there is a blockage in the INLET or OUTLET tubing. If there is no blockage, contact support at support@efr-systems.us
3. Ensure that all tubes and cables are in good working condition and connected in the proper locations.
4. Is the length and/or height of the tubing running from the OUTLET of the device to the INLET of the reservoir near or above the normal operating limits?
5. Is the length and/or height of the tubing running from the supply container to the INLET of the device 6 feet or less?

NOTE: The pump will automatically shut off if it operates above 60 PSI Max.
